Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar

Arrive into Delhi
Welcome to Vardhman's "Gangotri & Yamnotri Trek"!
You will be picked up from your hotel/home/airport in Delhi and then
transferred directly by Vardhman's representative to Haridwar. Haridwar
is also famous by the names of gangadwar, Mokshadwar, Tapovan and
Mayapuri. It is at Haridwar that the Ganga finaly energes into the
northern plains. Upon arrival check into your hotel.
Evening attend Arti ceremony at Har Ki Pairi, ganga simmering with
Purning temples and Echoing Prayers.
Har Ki Pairi Ghat: Har Ki Pairi ghat is the prime tourist attraction
of Haridwar. This wonderful riverside bank was constructed by King
Vikramaditya in memory of his brother Bhartrihari. It is said that
all the sins that a mortal commits are washed out by bathing at this
river-bank. In the evening just when the Sun is about to go down below
the horizon, priests perform the religious rite on the bank of the
river. This is extremely scenic and people join in the devotional
song. After the ritual is over, small candles are floated on the river.
The place looks enchanting. The atmosphere is very peaceful and you
will surely love it.

Day 2: Haridwar -Mussoorie- Barkot
Depart from Haridwar early morning to Barkot. Reach Barkot in
the evening after visiting Kempty falls and Mussoorie on the way.
On arrival check in the camp.
Overnight: Camp
Day 3: Barkot - Yamnotri - Barkot
After an early breakfast leave for Hanuman Chatti (drive 32
kms) to start your journey. Then from there start a trek to Yamnotri.
Arrive at Yamnotri and pray at temple and also take a holy achman
to start your most sacred pilgrimage to Char Dhams. Come back to
phool chatti in the evening to return back to camp resort for dinner
and relaxation with ayurvedic massage at the resort.

Day 4: Barkot - Uttarkashi
After a relaxed breakfast leave for Uttarkashi. Upon arrival
check-in to your camp.
Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi and is famous
for its historical monuments, temples & ashrams. You may visit
famous Vishwanath Temple and Nehru Institute of Mountaineering.
Overnight: Camp
Day 5: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi
After breakfast leave for Gangotri. On arrival take a holy dip
in the river sacred the ganges, also called Bhagirathi at its origin.
Perform Pooja after that and relax for sometime in the lovely surroundings.
Relax in the bright sunshine and some of breathtaking views of the
valley beautiful. In the evening perform the ganga aarti.
Overnight: Camp
Day 6: Uttarkashi - Haridwar
Morning after breakfast leave for Haridwar. If time permits
enroute visit Devprayag (The confluence of rivers Alaknanda and
Bhagirathi to become Ganga). On arrival check into your hotel. Evening
visit Mansa Devi Temple and attend aarti at Har ki Pauri.
Reach Haridwar in the evening and attend the Ganga Arti at Har ki
Pauri.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 7: Haridwar - Delhi
In the morning after a leisurely breakfast drive back to Delhi
International airport to board the flight for your onward journey
to back home with sweet and unforgettable memories of "Gangotri
& Yamnotri Trek" escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
