Day 1 - Delhi
Met on arrival and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 - Delhi - Rishikesh
Morning after breakfast drive (225 km) to reach Rishikesh. Stop
at Haridwar for sightseeing of Ganga Ghats & Temples. Afterwords
proceed to Rishikesh. Arrive & checkin at the hotel. Lunch at
Hotel. After lunch proceed for city tour of Rishikesh includes visit
to Geeta Bhawan, Ram Juhla, etc.
RISHIKESH: Situated at the foothills of Garhwal hillsalong Ganges,Rishikesh
is a gateway to the important religious places of Badrinath, Gangotri,
Kedernath and Yamunotri. Places of interest includes visit to Bharat
Mandir- the oldest temple in Rishikesh, Nilkanth Mahadev- this is
belived to be the place where Lord Shiva drank the posion churn out
of the cosmic ocean among many other temples. Also visit some of its
many Ashrams: Ashrams are centres for spritual studies, meditition,
Yoga, sacred prayers besides being residential centres for the resident
gurus.
Day 3 - Rishikesh - Uttarkashi
Morning after breakfast proceed for Uttarkashi (1150 mt / 155
km drive), which takes 5-6 hrs. Upon arrival checkin at Shikhar Nature
Resort. After lunch visit NIM (Nehru Institute of Mountaineering)
Institute & Museum.
Uttarkashi is the principle town in the region. Nehru Institute of
Mountaineering is situated here. It is also the gateway to many mountaineering
and trekking expedition in Gangotri area
Day 4 - Uttarkashi - Harsil
Morning after breakfast drive to reach Harsil (approx 25 km before
Gangotri (3048 M)) by covering approx 70 km in 3-4 hrs. On arrival
check-into tented camp.
There is a beautiful Gorge at Bhairav Ghati over which there is a
steel gurder bridge. Gangotri is the place where the Goddess Ganga
descended on Earth from Heaven. There is a Temple of Goddess Ganga
where thousands of devotees throng to pay homage to Her.
Overnight stay in tented camp.
Day 5 - Harsil - Gangotri - Bhojbasa
Morning after early breakfast drive to Gangotri, the road head
to start first days trek to Bhojbasa 3600 Mt. following the river
Bhagirathi on right bank by covering approx 14 kms in 4-5 hrs. Trek
is full of fascianating Himalayan sights and you can have beautiful
views of snow clapped peaks around.
Upon arrival at Bhojbasa, set up camp for overnight stay.
Day 6 - Bhojbasa - Gaumukh - Tapovan
Morning trek (8 km) to Tapovan (4463 MT) via the pilgrimage spot
of Gaumukh-source of river Bhagirathi or the Ganga. The trek after
Gaumukh goes over the Gangotri Glacier with morain deposits. Arrive
at Tapovan, a huge medow right at the base of Mt. Shivling. Overnight
stay in tents.
Day 7 - Tapovan - Nandanvan
Morning trek 11 km / 4-5 hrs to reach yet another beautiful base
of Bhagirathi group of peaks, Nandanvan (4337 MT). The trek crosses
Gangotri Galcier again. Arrive and overnight at camp
Day 8 - Nandanvan - Vasuki Tal
Morning trek (11 km) along Chaturangi Glacier to reach Vasukital
(4898 MT), a beautiful base for Mt Satopanth and Mt Vasuki Parbat
with a small lake . The trek is steady upward. Arrive in 5-6 hours
and overnight stay in tents
Day 9 - Vasuki Tal - Khara Pathar (Suralya Bamak)
Morning after breakfast trek to Khara Pathar (5456 mt) (Suralya
Bamak) 6 Km from Vasukital.
Dinner and overnight stay in the camp.
Day 10 - Khara Pathar - Kalindikhal Base
Morning after breakfast trek 10 Km to reach Kalindikhal Base (Sweta
Glacier) (5500 mt).
Dinner and overnight stay in the camp.
Day 11 - : Kalidikhal Base - Rajparav
Morning after breakfast proceed your trek (12 km) to Kalindi Pass
(5947 mt). Spend some time at the spot and then trek down to Rajparav
(4910 mt) for dinner and overnight stay in the camp.
Day 12 - Rajparav - Arwatal
Morning after breakfast proceed your trek (13 km) to reach Arwatal
(3910 mt) 13 km from Rajparav.
Overnight stay in the camp.
Day 13 - Arwatal - Ghastoli
Moring after breakfast proceed your trek (16 km) to reach Ghastoli
(3796 km), which is 16 Km from Arwatal.
Dinner and overnight stay in the camp.
Day 14 - Ghastoli - Mana - Badrinath
Morning after breakfast trek to reach Mana village 14 Km from
Ghastoli, then drive 2 Km to reach Badrinath.
Overnight stay in the Hotel Narayan Palace.
Day 15 - Badrinath
The full day is for rest and relaxation. Visit the famous Hindu
temple of Sri Badrinath Ji and explore the surroundings of the beautiful
religious town on your own.
Overnight stay in the Hotel.
Day 16 - Badrinath - Joshimath
Morning after breakfast drive down to reach Joshimath 44 Km from
Badrinath. The full day is for the preparation of the next trek ie.Kuari
Pass trek.
Overnight stay in the Hotel Dronagiri.
Day 17 - Joshimath - Auli - Gorson
Morning after breakfast drive till Auli 14 Km from Joshimath and
then trek to reach Gorson Bugyal or board the Cable car to Gorson
and then
Day 18 - Gorson - Gailgarh
Morning after breakfast proceed your trek to reach Gailgarh 18
km from Gorson.
Overnight stay in the camp.
Day 19 - Gailgarh - Kuari Pass - Panairani
Morning after breakfast proceed your trek to Panairani 15 Km from
Gailgarh.
Overnight stay in the camp.
Day 20 - Panairani - Jhinjhipani
Morning after breakfast proceed your trek to reach Jhinjipani
12 Km from Panairani. Overnight stay in the camp.
Day 21 - Jhinjhipani - Ramni
Morning after breakfast proceed your trek to reach Ramni 13 Km
from Jhinjipani.
Overnight stay in the camp.
Day 22 - Ramni - Ghat
Morning after breakfast proceed your trek to reach Ghat 10 Km
from Ramni, the road head to Rishikesh.
Overnight stay in the camp.
Day 23 - Ghat - Rishikesh
Morning after breakfast drive down to reach Rishikesh. On arrival
check-in the Hotel Natraj for overnight stay. In the evening after
wash and change visit Laxman Jhula, Thirteen storied temple, Geeta
Ashram, Parmarth Niketan and later join the Arti ceremony at Triveni
Ghat. Latter return back to the Hotel for overnight stay
Day 24 - Rishikesh - Delhi
Morning after breakfast proceed your drive enrout visiting Haridwar
to reach Delhi.
On arrival transfer to the IGI Airport to board the flight for onwards
journey.
