Begin your tour.

Welcome to Vardhman's Grand Indian Experience ! On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel.

Day 2 Delhi

This morning after a leisurely breakfast proceed for the sightseeing of Delhi. Combined city tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi
Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple , a modern Hindu Temple , Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi . Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.
Enjoy the Dances of India show in the evening.

Day 3 Delhi - Jaipur

Morning drive to jaipur and transfer into hotel.
The fabled 'pink city' of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharajah of Jaipur. After Lunch and some rest visit the City Palace, the royal residence of the Maharajah of Jaipur and later visit the Observatory dating back to the 18th century and also visit the Palace of winds (Hawa Mahal). Evening enjoy your dinner with cultural Rajasthani folk dance programme.

Day 4 Jaipur - Pushkar

Morning after breakfast visit the majestic Amber Fort where you ride up on elephants back to the former capital of the royals set against the backdrop of wooded hills.
Later explore shopping centres of jaipur and drive to Pushkar and upon arrival Pushkar, check into your hotel. Evening enjoy the camel Fair.

Day 5 Pushkar

City tour of PushkarToday proceed for sightseeing. Explore the holy city of Pushkar and visit the only Brahma temple in India, the Savitri temple Mahadev Temple, Varah Temple, Ramav.

Day 6 Pushkar - Udaipur

This morning after breakfast drive to Udaipur (the Venice of the east). and arrival Udaipur, check into hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure

Day 7 Udaipur

This morning after the breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Udaipur Visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, drive around Fatehsagar Lake, Sahelion ki Bari (Queen resort for her friends) and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum)
Boat curise on Lake Pichola(Optional ) 4km long and 3km broad, surrounded by splendid hills, Palaces, temples bathing ghats and embankments

Day 8 Udaipur - Ranakpur - Mt.Abu

Morning drive to the only hill resort of Rajasthan Mt.Abu enroute visiting the famous Jain temples of Ranakpur. Arrive Mt.Abu check in to your hotel.
Evening at leisure.

Day 9 Mt.Abu - Jodhpur

After breakfast proceed on a city tour of Mt Abu, At 1,200 meters, Mount Abu is the highest point of the Aravalli range passing through Rajasthan. The only hill resort of Rajasthan. It is build around a lake and is surrounded by forested hills. According to the legend, the place derives its name from ARBUDA, a serpent who descended to the spot to rescue Shiva's bull NANDI. Besides having all the features of a pleasant hill resort, this place is also famous for the DILWARA TEMPLES and many more archeological remains. There are romantic royal retreats and relics of the Raj. Enjoy boating at the Nakki Lake and visit the temples and the museum in the afternoon. Later drive to Jodhpur. Upon arrival at Jodhpur check into hotel

Day 10 Jodhpur

This morning after breakfast proceed on a city tour of Jodhpur. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort museum and Jaswant thada, the cremation spot of the royal family. Later visit the ancient capital of Marwar-Mandore and the museum of Umaid Bhawan Palace.

Day 11 Jodhpur - Jaisalmer

Morning drive to Jaisalmer situated deep in the heart of the Thar desert. Arrival Jaisalmer check into hotel. City tour of Jaisalmer
After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of The Golden City - Jaisalmer. It is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert. Its temple, fort and palaces are all built of yellow stone. The city is a mass of intricately carved buildings, facades and elaborate balconies. Visit the JAISALMER FORT - The oldest living Fort in the world. See the Patwon-Ki-Havelies, Salim-Singh-Ki-Haveli and Gandhi Sagar Tank. Also visit Barabagh Hill.

Day 12 Jaisalmer - Bikaner

After breakfast drive to Bikaner and transfer to hotel
After lunch make a tour of Junagarh Fort and its fabulous palaces.

Day 13 Bikaner - Mandawa

After breakfast drive down to Mandawa and check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Mukandgarh/Mandwa , found in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and still the home of his descendants. See beautiful frescoes, havelis and mansions. Mandawa castle, one of the finest castles of Rajasthan, is now a hotel and house of collections of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820, ancient coins, numismatic collection and many other interesting items, preserved in a museum. A walking tour of the painted 'havelis' of some of the leading business families of the country.

Day 14 Mandawa - Bharatpur

Drive to Bharatpur (famous for keoladeo Ghana bird sanctuary) and upon arrival, check into hotel. Bharatpur is a magnificent bird haven in actual came into being paradoxically as a duck shooting preserve for Maharaja Suraj Mull of Bharatpur. He transformed the shallow depression formed by the confluence of River Gambhir and River Banganga into a reservoir by damming the rainwater in monsoons. Flooding of water created shallow wetland ecosystem causing it to be a perfect habitat for an astounding variety of birds. The park that was a hunting preserve for the Maharaja and the British continued to be so till 1964, after which the hunting was banned.

Day 15 Bharatpur - Agra

Early morning make a visit to the sanctuary to see the birds in their natural habitat. After breakfast drive down to Agra (The city of Tajmahal). Arrive Agra by lunch after a tour of the beautiful city of Fatehpur Sikri, the Old capital of Mughal emperor Akbar. Post lunch tour of the world famous Tajmahal and of the Red Fort. Later explore the shopping centres of Agra. Evening enjoy special cocktail dinner.

Day 16 Agra - Delhi - Madras

Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer to Delhi domestic airport to connect flight to Madras. Arrive Madras in the evening and check into hotel.

Day 17 Madras

This morning after breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Chennai Visit Fort St. George, San Thome Cathedral and the museum to see the Art and Bronze Gallery. (Closed on Fridays and Public holidays). High court, Marina Beach, San Thome Cathedral and Snake Park.

Day 18 Madras - Tanjore

Morning drive to Tanjore and check into hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 19 Tanjore - Madurai

Morning start the tour of Tanjore visiting the Brihadeshwara Temple, a typical architecture from the 11th century. Later visit the Saraswati Mahal Library.
After lunch depart for Madurai , arrival there check into hotel.

Day 20 Madurai - Periyar

Later proceed on a city tour of Madurai.
Visit the great Meenakshi Temple dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering Gopurams (rising high above the surrounding country side).
Later depart for Periyar wild life sanctuary. Arrive Periyar in the evening and check into hotel.

Day 21 Periyar - Allepey

This morning after breakfast visit Periyar wildlife sanctuary which is home to nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and etc. Later drive to Allepey and transfer into hotel.

Day 22 Allepey - Cochin

After breakfast boat cruise on the backwaters of Kerala (three hours from boat) and than continue by Road to Cochin and arrival there transfer into hotel.
Visit the Chinese fishing nets in the backwaters of Cochin.

Day 23 Cochin

This morning after breakfast proceed on a sightseeing of Cochin. Visit the Jewish Synagogue, Portuguese Churches, Dutch Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets, Gunda and Willington Islands, Kerala History Museum, Hill Palace Museum, Parishath Taamburan Museum,Santacruz Cathedral (Basilica),Spice Market, etc. Evening sunset cruise on Cochin Harbour where you have a chance of seeing dolphins.

Day 24 Cochin - Coimbatore

After breakfast drive to Coimbatore also called the 'Manchester of South India'. pon arrival check ino hotel.
Later visit the Maruthamalai temple.

Day 25 Coimbatore - Ooty

Morning drive to the queen of hill stations Ooty, known for its salubrious climate and scenic beauty. Later proceed on a city tour of Ooty.
Visit the boatanical garden established in 1847. They have a large variety of exotic and colourful plants. Also visit the Ooty lake where boating is a favourite pastime and Doddabetta peak, the highest point in the Nilgiri mountains (2623 meters high)

Day 26 Ooty - Mysore

This morning drive to Mysore (wonderful historic town and evidence city to exhibit the oldest Indian richest economy).
Upon arrival at Mtsore check into your hotel.
Later visit the Mysore Palace, once the capital seat of power of the ruling Wodeyars. Also visit the Brindavan Garden, Chamundeeswri temple, Tipu’s summer palace.

Day 27 Mysore - Belur - Halebid

This morning after breakfast drive to Halebid and enroute visit Belur, upon arrival check into hotel. Belur is the superbly preserved Chennkesava Temple here is a tribute to the skill and genius of the medieval craftsman. Later visit Halebid temple 10 kms. From Belur, a riot of carvings left incomplete after 80 years of labour.

Day 28 Halebid - Bangalore

Drive to Bangalore to Board a flight to Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai in the evening and transfer to hotel.

Day 29 Mumbai

After breakfast proceed for a half day city tour of Mumbai
Visiting Kamla Nehru park, Hanging gardens situated on the slopes of Malabar hill offering a panoramic view of Marine Drive and Chawpatty beach, Prince of wales museum, Mani Bhawan, Dhobi Ghat, Gateway of India and drive through the Crawford market.
