Day 1 ARRIVE DELHI

Begin your tour.
Arrive into Delhi
Welcome to Vardhman's "Ladhak with Golden Temple"!
Upon arrival in Delhi International airport Vardhman's representative will welcome, assist and provide transfer you to your hotel. Rest of the free at leisure.

Day 2 DELHI - AMRITSAR

On the day 2 of your tour transfer new Delhi railway station to board train to Amritsar.
Upon arrival, Vardhman's representative will assist at the Railway station & provide transfer to your pre-booked hotel for overnight.

Day 3 IN AMRITSAR

City tour of Amritsar.
Visit Golden Temple - It is the most sacred temple for Sikhs. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world. In the evolution of the Darbar Sahib, is entwined the history and ideology of Sikhism. In its architecture are included, symbols associated with other places of worship. This is an example of the spirit of tolerance and acceptance that the Sikh philosophy propounds.
Also visit Jallianwala Bagh - Martyrs’ Memmorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty is situated on the outskirts of Golden Temple. Here about 1500 and 2000 persons who were attending a peaceful meeting during the freedom movement fell under the bullets of the British General Dyer on 13 April 1919 and the city of Amritsar.

Day 4 AMRITSAR - DHARAMSHALA

Early morning depart for Dharamsala.
Dharamsala is divided into two parts: upper and lower Dharamsala. The upper part is known as Mcleodganj while the lower part is the main Dharamsala. Tall and dense pine trees with small streams flowing down from the nearby snowline make this place a favorite among people.
Upon arrival in Dharamsala, check into your hotel. Relax for a while and later proceed on a city tour.
Afternoon tour of famous Mcleod-Ganj the seat of present His Holiness Dalai Lama visit the school, local Tibetan monastery & walk through the bazaar, after visit return to hotel.
McLeodganj: Located in the upper part of Dharamsala, the British established town of McLeodganj is amongst one of the most popular tourist hill stations in India these days.
Kangra Fort: Kangra Fort was once the stronghold and seat of power of Katoch rulers, who ruled the land for over 2000 years. Today, it stands in ruins because of the devastating earthquake that hit the area in 1905.
Library of Tibetan Works and Archives: LTWA is situated at McLeodganj town of Dharamsala. It was founded by the 14th Dalai Lama and serves as an institution to preserve and promote Tibetan culture.
Namgyal Monastery: Sonam Gyatso, the third Dalai Lama, founded Namgyal Monastery in the year 1575. During that time, it was situated at the Potala Palace in Tibet. Its purpose was to assist the Dalai Lama in his spiritual duties and public religious activities.

Day 5 DHARAMSALA - MANALI VIA JAWALAJI TEMPLE

After breakfast depart for Manali. Enroute visit Kullu and Manali.
Visit famous Jawalaji Temple crowned with a Squat Golden Spire, contains a blue gas flame, considering a manifestation of the Goddess of Fire, Jawalamukhi.
After visit continue drive to Manali.
Upon arrival in Manali check into your hotel for an overnight rest.

Day 6 MANALI

After breakfast proceed for the half day sightseeing tour of Manali visiting Nagar Castle, Lord Krishna temple, Vishist sulphur springs, Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa.
Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7 MANALI

After breakfast depart for half-day sightseeing tour visiting famous Hadimba temple, Vashisht Baths, Buddhist monastery, Manu Temple and Naggar, Bazzar and old Manali.
After visit return to hotel.

Day 8 MANALI - KEYLONG (160 Kms 06 Hrs.)

After breakfast depart for Keylong via Rohtang pass.
Rohtang pass: It is located at high altitude and is a popular destination among tourists who visit Manali. Those who are of adventurous nature opt for trekking to this place, which stands surrounded by great greenery and snow capped mountains. The pass is the highest point on the Manali-Keylong Road, located at 4112 meters of altitude.
Upon arrival in Keylong, check into your hotel.

Day 9 KEYLONG - SARCHU (180 Kms 09 Hrs.)

After breakfast drive to Sarchu.
Sarchu is the borderline between Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
Enroute visit Baralacha Pass (4891 m), Naki-la & Zing Zing bar.
Upon arrival at Serchu check into tented camp for overnight.
Overnight: Camp

Day 10 SARCHU - LEH (180 Kms 10 Hrs. )

After breakfast drive to Leh via Sechunthang Platue & Tang-lang la (5325 m).
Upon arrival in Leh check into the hotel for overnight.
Overnight: Hotel

Day 11 LEH

Morning after breakfast visit SOS Tibetan children village, & Stok Palace, after visit return to the hotel.
Afternoon depart for sightseeing of Spituk & Phyang monastery after visit return to respective hotel for overnight.
Overnight: Hotel

Day 12 LEH

After breakfast proceed for the full day Sightseeing Of Shey, Thiksey, & Hemis, Shey was the old Capital and the home of the kings of Ladakh before the new capital became established in Leh the palace sits in a strategic position on a spur jutting out into the indus valley. The main temple contains a large Buddha Statue sculpted by nepalese craftmen. Thiksey, this large gompa is an impressive sight, situated on top of a craggy hill while the rest of the complex sprawls down beneath. It was founded in the 15th century by Gelukpa Monks. Hemis is famous Gompa in this area, Around 35 Km from Leh.
Evening return to the hotel for overnight rest.

Day 13 LEH - ULETOKPO VIA ALCHI 109 Kms. 04 Hrs.

Early morning depart for Uletokpo. Enroute visit a Sikh Gurudwara known as Pattar sahib & beautiful monastery of Ladakh, Alchi monastery.
Alchi monastery Considered one of the most well preserved Buddhist centers of Ladakh, the Alchi monastery has beautiful paintings on its walls, which are examples of early Buddhist art.
In Alchi village you can see the rural lifestyle of the villagers including activities such as grinding wheat etc. Upon arrival, check into tented camps for overnight stay.

Day 14 ULETOKPO - LEH

After breakfast departs for Leh enroute stop to photograph Basgo monastery and visit Likir monastery.
After visit continue drive to Leh upon arrival check into the respective hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight: Hotel

Day 15 LEH - DELHI

On the day 15 of your tour, Vardhman's representative will assist & provide transfer to the airport to connect flight to Delhi.
Upon arrival in Delhi you will be met and transferred to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 16 DELHI

Morning after breakfast proceed for the sightseeing of Old Delhi and New Delhi.
Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi.
Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.

Day 17 DELHI - BACK HOME
