Spend a memorable night at a tent guesthouse near Rongbuk Monastery, the highest monastery in the world, located right below Mount Everest.

Upon arrival at Lhasa Airport or the train station, our friendly Tibetan guide will greet you with a traditional Hada scarf – a warm symbol of respect and blessing. From there, you’ll be comfortably transferred to your hotel in downtown Lhasa.
On the way, enjoy your first glimpse of Tibet’s stunning landscapes, including the Yarlung Tsangpo River (Brahmaputra) and the Lhasa River.
Once you check in, take the rest of the day to relax and acclimatize to the high altitude. It’s best to rest, drink plenty of water, and avoid heavy physical activity or long baths to prevent dehydration.
In the evening, your guide will meet you to discuss the tour itinerary, share important travel tips, and help you get familiar with your group members.

After breakfast, begin your day exploring Lhasa’s most iconic landmarks — the Potala Palace and the Jokhang Temple, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites that showcase the rich history and deep spirituality of Tibet.
Start with a visit to the magnificent Potala Palace, once the winter residence of the Dalai Lama. Standing high above the city, it offers a stunning panoramic view of Lhasa Old Town.
Inside, you’ll explore sacred chapels, intricate murals, and the golden stupas of former Dalai Lamas. Don’t miss the ancient meditation cave of King Songtsen Gampo, the 33rd ruler of Tibet, who first established Buddhism here.
Afterward, stroll through Longwangtan Park, located at the base of the palace. This peaceful spot provides a great angle for photos and a chance to mingle with locals taking part in Tibetan folk activities.
In the afternoon, visit the sacred Jokhang Temple, considered the spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism. Inside, admire the precious statue of 12-year-old Buddha Sakyamuni, a revered image brought from ancient India.
Outside the temple, witness the devotion of pilgrims performing prostrations and walking the Barkhor Street kora, a traditional clockwise circuit around the temple.
Take your time to explore Barkhor Street Market, where colorful stalls sell prayer wheels, thangka paintings, and handmade Tibetan crafts — perfect for souvenirs.
Before ending your day, visit one of Lhasa’s traditional tea houses. Enjoy a cup of Tibetan sweet tea alongside friendly locals while your guide shares stories about daily life and social traditions in Tibet.

After breakfast, drive across the Gampala Pass (4,790 m) for your first stunning view of Yamdrok Lake (4,400 m) — one of Tibet’s three holy lakes. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, Yamdrok-tso glows in shades of turquoise and blue. In the distance, you can see the majestic Mount Nyenchen Khangsar (7,191 m), the highest mountain near Lhasa.
Take time to stop at scenic viewpoints for photos and visit a local village near the lakeshore to experience Tibetan hospitality. You may also enjoy a home-cooked lunch with local families, giving you a taste of traditional Tibetan life.
Continue your drive toward Korola Glacier, one of the largest glaciers in Tibet. You’ll see its massive ice tongue stretching down the mountainside, a stunning reminder of nature’s power and beauty.
Next, stop at Simila Mountain Pass, where you can hang colorful prayer flags to send your wishes for peace and good fortune. Upon reaching Gyantse, explore this charming old town known for its ancient architecture and warm local culture.
The journey continues through scenic Tibetan barley fields and farmlands, turning lush green in summer and golden in autumn.
By evening, arrive in Shigatse, the second-largest city in Tibet. Check in to your hotel and relax after a long, beautiful drive. Shigatse will be your base for the next part of your adventure — the journey to Mount Everest Base Camp.

After breakfast, begin your day exploring Shigatse, Tibet’s second-largest city and an important spiritual center.
Start your morning with a visit to the Tashilhunpo Monastery, the traditional home of the Panchen Lama. Founded in 1447 by the 1st Dalai Lama, this grand monastery is one of Tibet’s six most sacred temples.
Here, you’ll admire the magnificent golden-roofed chapels, beautiful murals, and the world’s largest statue of Maitreya Buddha (the Future Buddha). It’s a peaceful and deeply spiritual experience that offers a glimpse into Tibetan monastic life.
After the monastery visit, continue your journey toward Old Tingri, a small but historic town that serves as the starting point for the Everest Base Camp trek. Along the way, enjoy spectacular views of Cho Oyu (8,201 m) — the sixth-highest mountain in the world — and other Himalayan peaks rising in the distance.
Upon arrival, your guide will make final preparations for the upcoming trek. You can take the rest of the evening to relax and enjoy the serene mountain atmosphere.

Today marks the start of your Tibet trekking adventure toward Everest Base Camp! After an early breakfast, begin your first day of trekking from Old Tingri to Lungjiang, covering about 13 kilometers (6–7 hours) of gentle hiking.
The trail follows the beautiful Ra-Chu Valley, offering wide-open views of the Tibetan plateau. As you walk, you’ll pass through lush meadows dotted with herds of sheep and goats, with distant views of snow-covered peaks. The peaceful landscape and crisp mountain air make this an unforgettable experience for nature lovers.
Along the way, you’ll visit a small monastery in Choelun, where you can learn about local Buddhist traditions and see how monks live in this remote region. The area is home to Tibetan herders and barley farmers, giving you a glimpse into traditional highland life that has remained unchanged for centuries.
In the evening, you’ll arrive at Lungjiang (Lungchang), where you’ll rest in a comfortable campsite under the clear Himalayan sky.

Today is your second day of trekking, and the adventure truly begins! You’ll cover about 21 kilometers (8–9 hours) from Lungjiang to Lamna-La, with an elevation gain of nearly 900 meters.
After breakfast, start your gradual ascent into the high mountains. The trail becomes steeper today, offering both challenge and reward as you climb closer to the Lamna-La Pass (5,097 m). Along the way, enjoy spectacular views of the Tibetan plateau, remote valleys, and rugged mountain terrain.
As you approach the top of the pass, the panoramic views of the Himalayas unfold before you — a truly unforgettable sight featuring some of the world’s highest peaks.
By evening, set up camp near Lamna-La and relax after a full day of adventure. Enjoy a warm meal under the stars, surrounded by the peaceful stillness of the Tibetan highlands.

Today is Day 3 of your trek, covering about 18 kilometers (around 7 hours). The trail fluctuates around 5,000 meters in elevation, offering a mix of gentle climbs and scenic views.
As you trek in the morning, you’ll encounter Tibetan yak herders and their families, experiencing the daily life of people who live in this remote region. Their traditional lifestyle and the herds of yaks grazing in highland meadows are a unique glimpse into Tibetan culture.
By late afternoon, arrive at your campsite near a riverside, with stunning views of Zommug Village in the distance. This peaceful setting is perfect for relaxing, enjoying the scenery, and reflecting on your high-altitude adventure.
Overnight stay at camp near Chaya Pass.
Today is Day 4 of your trek, covering approximately 20 kilometers (around 8 hours). Your journey takes you to the ultimate destination: Everest Base Camp.
Along the way, stop at Rongbuk Monastery, perched at 5,009 meters above sea level. This remote monastery offers a peaceful retreat and incredible views of Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks. Take time to explore the monastery, meet the monks, and soak in the spiritual atmosphere of this high-altitude sanctuary.
Continue trekking to the Everest Base Camp, where the majestic north face of Mount Everest towers above you. Capture unforgettable photos and relish the feeling of standing at the foot of the world’s highest peak.
Tonight, enjoy the unique experience of staying in a tent guesthouse, surrounded by the crisp Himalayan air and breathtaking mountain scenery.

After breakfast, begin your journey back from Everest Base Camp to Shigatse, retracing the scenic route along the Himalayan range.
On the way, stop at Gawula Pass (5,198 m), a rare viewpoint where you can admire five snow-capped peaks above 8,000 meters. Take in the breathtaking panorama, snap memorable photos, and soak in the grandeur of the world’s highest mountains.
By evening, arrive in Shigatse and join a special dinner at Langma Hall to celebrate the success of your Everest trek. Enjoy traditional Tibetan songs and dance performances, offering a perfect cultural finale to your high-altitude adventure.

After breakfast, drive from Shigatse back to Lhasa Airport or Railway Station for your onward flight or train.
